I’ve Only Been to Two Airports

What’s the best and worst airport you’ve been to?

One of the hardest things about being a Christian pastor, author, and father is being poor. I don’t go to airports. I don’t fly. It’s not that I wouldn’t like to. I just need to pay my mortgage.

I’ve only flown twice. Once to New Jersey for a conference where they were selling my book and once back. Therefore, I only have those two airports I have ever been to.

That being said, I had some great gospel conversations. I handed out tracts and Bibles while I was waiting for my flight. One young lady prayed that Jesus would save her from her sins and be her Lord.

So, I can’t really say that I have much experience with airports to know whether the ones I went to were good or bad. However, I can say I had a great time at them because I redeemed the time and witnessed for my savior.

Find places to share the gospel. Bad news, we have all sinned and deserve to be thrown into Hell. We all have lied, stolen, used God’s name in vain, and looked with lust. We are lying, thieving, blasphemous, adulterers at heart. There is no one righteous, no not one.

Yet, the good news is that God is rich in mercy. He sent Jesus, who is truly God and truly man, to die on the cross for our sins. He paid the penalty of suffering under God’s wrath so that we can be forgiven. God calls all people everywhere to repent (turn from sin) and trust in Jesus’ sacrifice and person to save them from their sins. Then God will send the Holy Spirit to seal you as His child and change your desires from evil to good. He will keep those who belong to Jesus saved.
