What’s the best way to explore a new city?
While it might be fun to visit a new city, you should do it with the safety of family, friends, or people you trust. I remember going to Road Island on a trip from St. Louis. We were helping local churches and church planters in our association there.
I got to learn about New England’s culture, found out coffee milk was a thing, and saw many of our Nation’s historical sites. I never forgot the warmth, truth, and beauty of meeting brothers and sisters I had never known before, and I experienced life with them.
The best part is the service and sharing the gospel. Seeing people’s lives transformed gives one’s life joy.
Bad news: we have all lied, used God’s name in vain, stolen, and looked with lust. We are lying, thieving, blasphemous, adulterers at heart. We all deserve to burn in Hell for all eternity.
Good news: God is rich in mercy. He sent Jesus Christ, truly God and truly man, to live a sinless life, die on the cross to pay the penalty for our sins, and rise from the dead three days later. God calls all people everywhere to repent (turn from sin) and trust in Jesus Christ to save them from sin.
God will seal His people with the Holy Spirit, who keeps His people saved, transforms them from evil to Good, and keeps them holy. God makes everything better.
