Yes Joker Over Batman

Have you ever liked a villain more than the hero? Who and why?

When I was younger, I took one of those Facebook quizzes to see what kind of villain I would be. Turns out, I’d be the Joker. I feel like it fits.

I have the kind of personality that wants to have fun with my job. If I have to be the villain, then I would rather have a fun time doing it.

That is why I would rather be the Joker than Batman. Batman takes everything too seriously. Yes, he is on the “good” side; however, he would rather not be doing it.

However, we live in the real world. We are all Jokers without all the fun. We also don’t have to be the villain. The good news is God made a way so we don’t have to stay evil.

Bad news: we have all lied, used God’s name in vain, stolen, and looked with lust. We are lying, thieving, blasphemous, adulterers at heart. We all deserve to burn in Hell for all eternity.

Good news: God is rich in mercy. He sent Jesus Christ, truly God and truly man, to live a sinless life, die on the cross to pay the penalty for our sins, and rise from the dead three days later. God calls all people everywhere to repent (turn from sin) and trust in Jesus Christ to save them from sin.

God will seal His people with the Holy Spirit, who keeps His people saved, transforms them from evil to Good, and keeps them holy. God makes everything better.
