No, I’m not talking about the guy above. I’m not talking about me. I have the same fear as Indiana Jones. I’m also afraid of sinning against the God I love. God has no fear.
“Why do the nations rage and the peoples plot in vain? The kings of the earth set themselves and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD and against his Anointed saying, ‘Let us burst their bonds apart and cast away their cords from us.’ He who sits in the heavens laughs; the Lord holds them in derision.” (Psalm 2:4, ESV).
The world that is in the power of the evil one strives to thwart God, His Son, and His people. They try to get Christians to doubt God’s Word, promises, power, and love. They make fake catastrophes, they persecute the Church, and they do as much wickedness as they can to try to usurp God. Yet, their plans are futile. God views them as foolish. He even laughs at them. He is in total control, and He will judge them.
Christian that remain in Jesus Christ do not need to fear. We do not need to fear snakes, viruses, protests, riots, government, taxes, death, or Satan himself. God is working all things together for the good of those who love Him, who are called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28). Jesus is coming to make all things right, purify believers from sin, and judge the world in righteousness. Do not fear, but hope in Jesus. We are God’s children. He will not forsake us, even in death. Even if we die, we shall be with the Lord. Lord bless you and have a great day.
