I Don’t Have One

Who is your favorite cartoon character?

I like all of the cartoons that I watched as a child: Scooby Doo, Static Shock, Batman, Batman Beyond, etc. I even enjoyed Dexter’s Laboratory.

Those cartoons were fun as a child. I enjoy watching my children watch the entertainment I used to watch. However, I have put those things behind me. Now is the time to do what matters in life.

Paul talked about this.

When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things.  (1 Corinthians 13:11, ESV)

Therefore, we need to focus on getting the life-saving message of the gospel. The bad news is we all deserve to go to Hell. We’ve all lied, stolen, and used God’s name in vain we are all lawbreakers who need justice done to us.

Yet, God is rich in mercy. He sent His only begotten Son, the Lord Jesus Christ. He is truly God and truly man. He lived a sinless life, died on a cross to pay the penalty for sin, and rose from the dead, defeating death. God calls everyone to repent ( turn from sin) and trust in Jesus Christ to save them from their sin. Do that today.
